How does the Yankees Student Pass work?

The Yankees Student Pass is a new type of ticket that gives students access to special offers. When you sign up at or by texting STUDENT to 89269, you'll receive a text message the day the offer becomes available. Expect several offers throughout the season!

Please note that students can buy up to two tickets through the Yankees Student Pass offer.*

Here's what to expect after you sign up:

STEP 1. We'll text you

Once the offer becomes available, we'll text you. Typically this happens the day of the game.

STEP 2. Click to buy

Click on the link we text you to purchase your tickets. Your exact seat location will not be determined until two hours before the scheduled start time of the game.

If you have not already downloaded the MLB Ballpark app, you will be prompted to do so in order to receive your tickets.

Act fast! Offers can be redeemed on a first-come, first-served basis.

STEP 3. Receive your tickets

If you choose to buy, your purchased tickets will be available for you within the MLB Ballpark app. Use these tickets to scan and enter the Stadium on gameday.

STEP 4. Enjoy the game!

Scan into the Stadium with the tickets on your phone, cheer on the Yankees & enjoy the game!

*Must have a valid high school or college email address to purchase special ticket offers. Offer valid for select, non-premium seating areas. Offer is for a limited time only, subject to availability, has no cash value, is not valid on previously purchased tickets, and is not good in conjunction with any other promotional offer.

If you have any questions, please call (212) YANKEES or email

When purchasing tickets or ticket plans on and associated websites, you are limited to a specified number of tickets or ticket plans for each event (also known as a "ticket limit"). The Yankees reserve the right to cancel any or all orders and tickets/ticket plans without notice to you if you exceed the posted limits. This includes orders associated with the same name, e-mail address, billing address, credit card number or other information.
