Closed Captioning

The Padres are pleased to offer closed captioning of the public address announcements here at Petco Park. The closed-captioning transcript can be viewed using the complimentary MLB Ballpark* application, which is accessible on any smartphone or web-enabled device.

*To download the 'MLB Ballpark' application:

  • Search for the 'MLB Ballpark' application in the App Store on your smartphone or web-enabled device
  • Install 'MLB Ballpark'
  • Open 'MLB Ballpark' and select Petco Park
  • Scroll down on the main page and select 'Closed Caption'

Dietary Restrictions

The San Diego Padres do not permit guests to bring food into Petco Park. Guests must also adhere to the following:

  • Guests with special items for dietary or medical restrictions should notify security upon entry.

Petco Park Guest Services Representatives have been trained in evacuation procedures. Should an emergency evacuation situation occur, emergency information will be displayed on the video board and announced on the assistive listening devices and the public address system.

All ballpark entries open 90 minutes prior to game time. All gate times are subject to change for special events, including Opening Day, as well as post-season play.

Season Tickets Members have special early entrances available 2 hours prior to game time via the Park Blvd. Gate and Home Plate Gate.

All ballpark entries are fully accessible.

Interpreting & Translation Services

We have multiple staff members who speak or sign a multitude of languages. If you need a translator or an interpreter, please notify any staff member or go to any Guest Services Center near Sections 108, 131, 303.

All Tickets in Accessible Seating Areas are available now and can be purchased by calling our Ticketing Team at 619.795.5555.

Secondary Ticket Market

Sensory Inclusion (Sensory Bags, Sensory Map, Social Story)

We are proud to partner with KultureCity and offer sensory bags at our Guest Services locations at 108, 131, 303. Our sensory bags, which are all cleaned between uses, include noise-cancelling headphones, fidget toys, a feeling thermometer, and wristbands for parents to write their phone number on. Identification will be required when checking out a bag.

Service Animals

Shuttle Service

Complimentary shuttle service is available for guests with ADA needs. The shuttles provide transportation between the Padres Parkade, Tailgate Park, the MTS Garage and Petco Park. The shuttle service is available two (2) hours prior to the start of a scheduled game and continues for approximately one-half (1/2) hour following the conclusion of the game. Guests upon arrival may also text SD (space) "requesting a shuttle and location" to 69050. Guests wishing to utilize this service following the game should report to the Home Plate Gate off of Park Boulevard as a designated shuttle pickup. Our guests' patience is requested. Service will be provided in the order that the calls are received.

Sun & Shade

Seating at Petco Park includes seats in full sun, in full shade, as well as partial sun/partial shade. Reference this Sun/Shade Seating Map when selecting your seats to choose the best seat for you.
